Two of pop's biggest icons finally shared a stage. Madonna and Kylie Minogue performed together for the first time ever at WorldPride Amsterdam, debuting a brand-new unreleased song as a surprise during Madonna's Club Confessions party.
It happened on Saturday 2 August 2026 at the 6,000-capacity AFAS Live. Beyond the obvious pop-culture weight, this was electronic music history too: Madonna's Club Confessions is a dance-first production, built with longtime collaborator Stuart Price, with Honey Dijon taking over on the decks afterward.
"Mother is here and this is gay heaven"
Madonna's line to the crowd summed up the night. It was her first WorldPride performance since 2019 and the debut edition of Club Confessions at a WorldPride celebration — a two-night festival that also featured Paris Hilton, Bebe Rexha, Purple Disco Machine and Oliver Heldens, and even set a Guinness World Record for the most confetti released in one minute.
"Pride has always been about bringing our community together," said festival producer Jake Resnicow. Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella called it "a really special experience."
For a genre that owes so much of its DNA to club and pride culture, two of its defining voices finally meeting on the same stage felt overdue — and landed exactly as big as it should have.
