FISHER and LAUREL Release Fan-Favourite ID 'Staring At The Sun'

FISHER and LAUREL have released 'Staring At The Sun' on CATCH & RELEASE, one of FISHER's most requested IDs. The track first surfaced earlier this year and became a fixture in his sets, from EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland to Creamfields and Silverworks Island in London.
Built around vocal lines and piano hooks, it pairs LAUREL's songwriting with the energy of FISHER's live shows. She drew on the Greek myth of Icarus for the lyrics: "To me, the song is about meeting someone who feels like your version of the sun."
On the road
The release lands as FISHER heads to Forest Hills Stadium in New York for two shows on 16 and 17 October, after a second summer residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza. LAUREL's third album, 'CRYING ON THE TENNIS COURT', is due 22 January 2027.
