Purple Disco Machine has announced his fourth studio album, 'COSMOTROPIA', due on April 30, 2027. The lead single, 'Test My Luck' with British singer MEEK, arrived alongside the announcement and was the first track recorded for the record.

The album blends 1970s and 1980s disco with his usual sound, drawing on artists such as Jean-Michel Jarre, The Alan Parsons Project and Pink Floyd. He has said he revisited the music his parents played when he was a child. Songwriters Ásdís and Theo von Hurts worked on the record in Dresden, together with longtime collaborators.
