Swedish House Mafia opened their 2026 Ushuaïa Ibiza residency on 30 June with a set built almost entirely around their own history — and one significant world premiere.

The trio opened with DJ Emile's 'The Bombshelter Speech' before moving into their own catalogue, running mashups against tracks from Tinie Tempah, Knife Party and Underworld. The middle of the set leaned heavily on classics, pulling in Booka Shade, Empire Of The Sun, deadmau5 and Green Velvet, before closing on 'Don't You Worry Child' and 'One (Your Name)' with Pharrell Williams.

New music in the set

The headline moment was the world premiere of 'Happiness Is So Sad', their collaboration with Lykke Li, confirmed for a 31 July release. They also played Axwell's 'Whatever Turns You On' with Bonn and the Anyma remix of 'Turn On The Lights Again' with Fred again.. and Future.

The residency

Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso hold Sundays at Ushuaïa from 28 June through 13 September 2026 — their fifth season as residents at the venue. Later in the summer they turned one of those Sundays into a World Cup final screening.
