A week after Defqon.1 2026 was cancelled outright following the Netherlands' first-ever KNMI code red heat warning, Q-dance has given the tribe two things it needed: a date, and a refund policy.
2027 dates confirmed
Defqon.1 returns to the Holy Grounds on 24, 25, 26 and 27 June 2027. "Our journey continues," Q-dance said in its statement to attendees. "Warriors, Defqon.1 returns to the Holy Grounds... Together, we return stronger than ever."
Refund or roll over
Anyone who bought through the official Q-dance shop can choose between keeping their ticket valid for 2027 or taking a full refund. The policy covers more than entry tickets — Travel & Stay products, camping packages, weekend passes and merchandise pre-orders are all included.
Instructions went out by email to primary ticket buyers, with a full FAQ on defqon1.com.
Closure for a weekend that never happened
Q-dance also released a filmed version of the 2026 Endshow, performed on empty grounds without an audience — an unusual gesture, and a pointed one, given the 2026 cancellation escalated from a Friday/Saturday access restriction into a full call-off and left chaotic scenes at the campsite. The heat also forced Bootshaus to throw a free hardstyle rave for stranded fans.
