Dom Dolla Premieres New Solomun & Skepta Collaboration 'Danger' at Hï Ibiza

Dom Dolla has premiered one of the more unexpected collaborations of the Ibiza season. During his residency night at Hï Ibiza on 13 July, the Australian producer dropped 'Danger', a brand new track made with Solomun and Skepta.

On paper it is an odd trio. Dom Dolla comes from the big-room house end of the spectrum, Solomun from the deeper, moodier melodic house world that made his own Ibiza nights a fixture, and Skepta from grime — though the UK MC has been steadily building a dance music catalogue and DJ career of his own over the past few years. The result, judging by the crowd footage circulating from the club, leans into a darker, more percussive house groove than Dom Dolla's recent chart-facing singles.

No release date yet

There is no confirmed release date for 'Danger'. Premiering unreleased material at a residency has become standard practice in Ibiza, and tracks often sit in DJ sets for months before landing on streaming — so a summer release is possible but not guaranteed.

Dom Dolla's Hï Ibiza residency continues across the season, and given the reaction, 'Danger' looks likely to become a recurring closer.
