Goldie is back. The drum & bass and jungle pioneer has released 'Jungle Daze', a new single featuring jazz vocalist Natalie Williams, out 22 July 2026 on London Records.
Premiered by Nemone on BBC Radio 6 Music, 'Jungle Daze' does exactly what the title promises — pristine, time-stretched breaks and expansive, cinematic production that nods hard to '90s jungle while still sounding current. Williams is a long-time collaborator, having previously featured on Goldie's 2017 track 'I Adore You'. The accompanying video, directed by Katia Schutz, weaves archive footage with fan-submitted memorabilia.
A statement of intent
Goldie framed the release as a reminder of roots amid the genre's current resurgence. "It's great with all these young ones getting into the original vibe we made so long ago, just wanted to remind them where it comes from… we lived it and they breathe it," he said.
The single marks the beginning of a major new chapter, with more releases planned.
Dare To Dream at the Royal Festival Hall
It leads toward 'Dare To Dream', a special orchestral performance at London's Royal Festival Hall on 14 November 2026 (two shows), part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. Backed by the Elysian Collective, a choir and special guests, it will premiere unreleased material including 'Jungle Daze'.
The drum & bass world has had a difficult month, following the death of North Quarter founder Lenzman — making a landmark return from one of the genre's founders land all the heavier.
