Skrillex & Solomun Finally Release First Collaboration 'Rumpta' on Diynamic

After months of being teased in DJ sets, Skrillex and Solomun have finally released 'Rumpta'. It landed on Diynamic on 5 July 2026 and is the pair's first official collaboration.
The track has been circulating since their back-to-back at Solomun's +1 residency in Ibiza last year, where it drew enough attention to make its non-release conspicuous. Now it is out on Beatport and streaming platforms.
What it sounds like
'Rumpta' splits the difference between the two artists rather than picking a lane. Skrillex's harder, more aggressive production sits under Solomun's club-facing structure — house-inspired vocals, peak-time grooves, and a darker, heavier finish than most Diynamic output. Call it Ibiza industrial.
Good timing for both
The release comes off the back of Skrillex's album 'SOMA' (June 2026) and the launch of his platform CONTRA, while Solomun is marking 20 years of Diynamic this year. Skrillex has had a busy month either way — he also went b2b with Four Tet at Kappa FuturFestival and gave his first interview in over a decade.
