Madonna Returns With 'Confessions II' Featuring Martin Garrix Collab 'Bizarre'

Madonna has released 'Confessions II', her first full-length album in seven years, out 5 July 2026. For dance music, the headline is track 'Bizarre' — a collaboration with Martin Garrix.
'Bizarre' pairs Garrix's pulsing production and shimmering synth work against Madonna's vocal, and it deliberately does not try to recreate the disco-revival sound of the original Confessions on a Dance Floor. It is a contemporary record rather than a nostalgia exercise.

The Dutch producer did not play it cool. "Very grateful to be a little part of this," he said, calling the finished album "crazy" — and admitting he was starstruck when the pair met in New York to record.
He had already given the track a soft launch, debuting 'Bizarre' unannounced during his show at Brooklyn's Barclays Center before anyone knew what it was.
It has been a high-visibility stretch for Garrix, who days earlier crashed a fan's wedding in Chicago with Ed Sheeran while on his Americas Tour.
