Fred again.. & LATIN MAFIA Release Joint Mixtape '9 Months & 50 Hours'

Fred again.. has a new joint project out, and it's one of the more unusual releases of his career. '9 Months & 50 Hours', a collaborative mixtape with Mexico City brother-trio LATIN MAFIA, dropped on 4 August 2026.
True to Fred's process-as-art approach, the record was made in the open. It grew out of a spontaneous December 2025 session — captured in a 35-minute film, under the fabric (Mexico City, 11th December 2025) — and was finished this week during a livestreamed session at Lago Algo in Bosque de Chapultepec, the whole completion documented live on YouTube exactly as promised.
A family affair
The project was co-written and co-produced with Benjy, Fred's younger brother, delivering on what Fred called the "family-affair promise" he set at the start. The pair then debuted it live at a sold-out Palacio de los Deportes concert in Mexico City — a fitting launch for a record so rooted in the city.
It caps a prolific run for Fred, who this summer also announced and expanded a debut India tour. '9 Months & 50 Hours' is out now across all major streaming platforms.
