Rave The Planet Parade 2026 Draws 400,000 to Berlin With 34 Floats

Berlin's biggest street rave delivered again. The Rave The Planet Parade 2026 drew roughly 400,000 people across the day on Saturday 23 August 2026, with 34 floats and over 300 artists rolling from the Brandenburg Gate to the Victory Column along Straße des 17. Juni.
The successor to the legendary Love Parade, Rave The Planet continues as an officially registered peaceful demonstration for electronic music culture rather than a ticketed festival — organisers noted "excellent cooperation with police, the fire department, public authorities and emergency services."
Bigger, and cleaner
For all the scale, this year's edition was notably tidy: waste collected by Berlin's BSR fell below both 2023 and 2024 levels, helped by around 140 volunteers who joined the next-day cleanup of the Großer Tiergarten. Newcomers included Bootshaus, joining for their first year with their own truck.
About that number
Worth a note on the headline figure: the 400,000 is an estimate of total foot traffic across a rolling, open-access, ticketless demonstration through the day — not peak simultaneous attendance. Either way, it's a striking reminder that Berlin's rave-parade tradition, born in 1989, is very much alive.
