A new commercial ceiling just fell in electronic music. RÜFÜS DU SOL have become the first electronic act to cross 100 million on a single tour** — and they blew well past it, grossing **158 million across their 18-month Inhale/Exhale World Tour, according to Billboard.
The numbers
The run pulled over 1.7 million fans across four continents — 54 dates in the US/Canada, 21 in Europe, 13 in Oceania and 10 in Latin America. The North American leg alone brought in **71.8 million** from 31 dates and 693,000 tickets. It closed on **5 September 2026** with a sold-out **43,500-capacity** show at Toronto's Rogers Centre, grossing around 5 million on the night.
From 350-cap rooms to stadiums
The context is what makes it land: Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt played a 350-person Toronto club in 2014. Twelve years later they're headlining stadiums — and earlier in 2026 they sold out four consecutive nights at Madison Square Garden.
It's a milestone that reframes electronic music as a genuine stadium-touring category, not just a festival one — arriving in the same year that Luminate named electronic the fastest-growing genre in the US.
