Tomorrowland's motto is unity across all ages, and this weekend it got its proof: Count Henri d'Outremont, a 101-year-old Belgian World War II veteran, turned up at Tomorrowland 2026 and out-danced people a fifth of his age.
Footage of the centenarian raving among thousands of festivalgoers spread quickly across social media, with fans calling him "possibly the oldest raver ever." It is the kind of moment that travels far beyond the dance music world — a reminder, as one clip put it, that "it's never too late to feel the drop for the first time."
A remarkable life
Count Henri is no ordinary festivalgoer. He served with the Piron Brigade during the Normandy landings, part of the Allied liberation of Europe. Eight decades on, he found a very different kind of gathering to be part of.
His Tomorrowland story began in 2024, when Belgian broadcaster Radio Contact first invited him to experience the festival. He returned for the 2026 edition, describing it as full of "plenty of beautiful moments."
