Calvin Harris Closes Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2, Ending a 13-Year Wait for His Belgium Debut

Calvin Harris brought the curtain down on Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2 the only way that felt right this year: headlining the Mainstage in Boom and closing out the biggest night of the weekend — the final chapter of a debut two decades in the making.

The Scottish superstar took the Mainstage from 23:45 on Saturday 25 July, the last name on a marathon bill that ran through Sub Zero Project, Armin van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas before handing him the closing slot. It was the second half of a bookend: Harris also closed the Mainstage on Weekend 1, and across both weekends he finally gave the People of Tomorrow a set they had waited years to see.

From TomorrowWorld 2013 to Boom

For all his festival headlines, Harris had never played Tomorrowland in Belgium across his 20-year career — his last outing under the Tomorrowland banner came at TomorrowWorld in 2013, making 2026 roughly a 13-year wait for fans in Boom. This year, running under the festival's Consciencia theme, he finally arrived, and did it twice.

A greatest-hits masterclass

Harris leaned on a catalogue few in dance music can match. His Belgium debut a weekend earlier saw John Newman join him live for 'Blame' — complete with an unreleased 2026 rework — alongside hit after hit built around vocals from Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding and Clementine Douglas: 'We Found Love', 'This Is What You Came For', 'Feel So Close', 'Sweet Nothing' and 'I'm Not Alone', stitched together with unreleased VIP edits and left-field mashups nodding to the likes of Hans Zimmer and The Chemical Brothers.

It capped a Tomorrowland fortnight that has produced no shortage of Mainstage moments — from FISHER closing his set with Avicii's 'Levels' to Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello's Swedish House Mafia reunion and the reveal that Las Vegas joins Tomorrowland in 2027. After a 13-year gap, Calvin Harris didn't just show up — he closed the whole thing.
