The Magic of Tomorrowland is heading back to Shanghai. The Belgian brand's China edition returns to the Hero Dome in Huangpu District for a two-day festival on 17–18 October 2026 — an expanded second edition.
The production
The headline draw is the room itself: a 99-metre curved LED screen with 80 ceiling screens, creating a 360-degree immersive spectacle around this year's 'Planaxis' underwater theme. "If you want to see this stage, you have to go to the shows in China," a Tomorrowland spokesperson noted — the design is exclusive to the China edition.
The lineup
- Friday 17 October — Axwell, Lost Frequencies, MORTEN, Cassian b2b Kevin de Vries, Bhaskar, Carly Wilford and more
- Saturday 18 October — Tiësto, ARTBAT b2b R3HAB, Alison Wonderland, Joel Corry, Miss Monique and more
Single-day GA starts at ¥788, two-day passes at ¥1,488, with premium GA+ unlocking a Harbour Villa site with Michelin dining. Presented globally by Budweiser and locally by Hero Esports and INS LAND.
It's another marker of Tomorrowland's relentless global expansion — the same strategy behind the Las Vegas 2027 reveal and record parent-company revenue.
